The purpose of our study is to assess the efficiency of the Spanish Courts with particular reference to the Administrative Litigation Division of the Spanish High Courts. First of all, the concept and evaluation approach are selected taking into account the characteristics of Public Administrations' supply. Secondly, the variables are described and discussed. Thirdly, the efficiency of the Courts is assesed using data envelopment analysis (DEA). Finally, two parametric approaches (deterministic and stochastic) are used and the results obtained by the different techniques are compared.
